RO water basically means water produced by the process of Reverse Osmosis. Back in the summer of 2007, I was very overweight for my height, I weighed two hundred and twenty-seven pounds (normal weight for my height is considered to be closer to one hundred and seventy five pounds). Earlier on in the summer my father had promised me he would help me manage my health and get serve into peak physical shape when I came to visit him. This of course sounded very titillating, and realizing that my father is in amazing physical condition himself, I thought to myself “who better to assist me in getting my health back together than my own father? ” So to make a long story short, I basically lost thirty-pounds in forty five days. Now you may be asking yourself “how did he do that? ” or “How is that possible? ” Well the answer is quite simple really and most people overlook the fact that it is really not that difficult to lose weight quickly if you simply put your mind in taking the honest steps. What I did within that short period of time was enact an all-organic diet that my father designed based upon the book “Natural Cures ‘They’ Don’t Want You To Know About,” by Kevin Trudeau. This book revealed many secrets and tips that helped point my father in the right direction in helping him lose a surplus amount of weight off from himself; testing it out on himself of course before trying it out on his own son, me.
So what is so significantly different in this “diet” that makes it so much more effective than any of the other more common and well-known diets out there? A few things apply here, and I will quickly summarize this diet within this paragraph (do with it what you will). One of the key portions of it all is to cut off eating any food at all, at six o’clock. Now, that may be rather difficult for the common working American, and therefore extenuating circumstances do apply, where this time can be adjusted to as behind as seven-thirty. Keeping this in mind, it is also necessary to make dinner (unlike the ancient American family) the lightest meal of the day. My father created a saying to succor me remember how I should operate my diet: “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a popper.” All that means is that breakfast (as most of you may already know) is the most important meal of the day, and basically you can eat all that you want during that time. Now, here is where the “challenging” section of this diet is applied. Anyway, this portion of the diet involves receiving at least thirty minutes of exercise (weather if be “cardio,” or pure weight-lifting, or even a mixture of both, a day (or depending on the thoroughness of your workout, it can be arranged to employ every other day. For my father and I, we would travel to the local YMCA and do a series of exercises (often spending up to two hours in the gym per day), and there is a saying “for every hour you consume in the gym, you add on one additional hour to your life.” On a typical day at the gym, we would start off by warming up, getting the blood flowing properly, by playing a game of “twenty-one” on the basketball court. Now as competitive as both my father and I are at this particular sport, and since we both have well-refined defense and offense, a simple game of this could take anywhere from thirty-to fifty minutes. Another alternative warm-up, if sports is not your thing, would be to apply at least thirty minutes (site at any level that is most comfortable for you) on one of those bicycles and/or a treadmill (unbiased anything that gets your blood flowing and your heart rate going). Once you feel a sense of physical accomplishment (and this is completely optional) you may depart on to the weight lifting room to do either upper body, or lower body (or if you are capable, both). Now as far as my stay with my father is concerned, basically all that we focused on in the lifting-room was upper body exercises: deltoids, triceps, biceps, pectorals, lower wait on, upper back/shoulders, and abdomen.
Now I forgot to mention this, however it is doctor recommended (as my father asked his own specialist how to customize this diet to execute the finest results), that you do not eat one of the three main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) until after you workout. So basically, my father and I for example, would workout before lunch (around ten every morning). So, we’ve covered the exercising, nipped at the food consumption, and covered what form of liquids it is recommended to engage, now let’s look deeper into the food consumption, and how I managed to lose so much weight so quickly. Now the whole purpose of this diet and even the name of the book it is based on is “Natural Cures,” is to consume foods as close to nature as possible, a term to describe this is known as organic. You may be asking yourself “what is the contrast between organic foods, and the other products sold in stores? ” Lets take vegetables as an example, everyone knows that on many farms, they spray crop dust or chemicals (via aircraft) onto their fields to either keep bugs (locusts and flies) away, or to help preserve or speed up growth. Now in organic farms, they grow their vegetables without applying all of these additional chemicals. Now, up until a couple of years ago, locating and purchasing foods that were certified organic was quite complicated and people would often have to travel to the “high-society” portion of towns in order to pinpoint a store that sold organic foods. Fortunately, a few major market chains (Kroger, Food Lion, and even some Wal-Marts) have inserted a thrifty “organic foods” section into their stores. It is important though that you as a customer view carefully at what you are purchasing, for even though it may be placed in that piece, this does not mean it is certified organic. What you need to be looking for is a small seal that says “USDA Certified Organic” and it’s usually in green and white (sometimes in black and white). Now, by eating as close to nature as possible this also means staying away from the microwave, you can imagine how for some college students (particularly a male such as myself) may glean that rather challenging, however again, it is for your have health-related benefit.
There is one last main aspect of this diet (in order for it to produce the maximum amount of definite results), and that is obtaining the right amount of sleep. It is scientifically proven that the human body should acquire no more or less than eight hours of sleep in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Receiving anymore than eight is not all that damaging, but it doesn’t do that much good either, and obtaining less than the required eight hours can cause problems with focus and make life more challenging. Again, all of these changes are difficult for many people (and probably for a lot of you whom are reading this), which is why this is known as an “obscene diet.” Also, while on the topic of sleep, it is crucial that your body not undergo any form of moderate to heavy physical activity anywhere from four hours before your scheduled sleep time. As common sense will inform you, exercise (moderate and vigorous) causes your heart rate to increase and blood to pump more frequently to and from your heart. It takes the body a while for the heart rate to return to its normal resting point. Again, as common sense would order you, when an individual tries to fall asleep, basically you are trying to lower your heart rate and basically shut down your body temporarily so that it may rejuvenate over a period of time (preferably eight hours). If a sped up heart rate clashes with the idea of physical/mental exhaustion to the point where sleep is a necessity, this could lead to health issues. Anyway, so an example of a good scheduled sleeping time (mine) would be falling asleep around ten o’clock and waking up at around six in the morning (this type of schedule will advance in handy once school commences).
So let’s recap, in order for this “coarse diet” to function properly you must take the following steps: eating as discontinuance to nature as possible, obtaining the recommended eight hours of sleep, cutting back on consummation of all fluids other than purified water, and acquiring at least thirty minutes of moderate exercise every day. Now, it is up to you to decide whether to apply additional changes to this diet (such as the intake of dietary supplements). However if such an action is taken, I would recommend taking “whole food” dietary vitamins. You win one after each meal (three a day) and again, since it is “whole food,” it is organic. Don’t forget that results will vary, because everyone and every body type is different (and naturally age also plays a factor). With that being said, and after having taken the time to read this guide, you now have the tools to be fully capable of safely losing weight both quickly and intelligently.

City officials have said that fluoride in your drinking water is righteous and it not the cause of any health problems, but noteworthy valid research tells a different story. Fluoride is not only found in your drinking water. It can be found in OTC products such as dietary supplements, children’s vitamins, toothpaste, mouthwash, and soft drinks. It is used to produce commercial make, insecticides, auto products, and garden products. Most people are ingesting three to four times the fluoride that is considered safe by government standards. Symptoms of toxicity include: increased salivation; nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; stomach pain; and injure to the mucus membranes of the body; headaches; tremors and muscular spasms; seizures; muscle weakness; heart problems including arrhythmia; cardiac arrest; shock; and death.
In 2006, poison control centers recorded one death and over 22, 000 Fluoride over exposures with 313 children ending up in the emergency room. There were 1800 problems with multivitamins products containing fluoride. It only takes 16 mg to cause toxicity in children. The majority of cases involved children under the age of 6 years venerable.
It Causes Dental Fluorosis: Dental Fluorosis is Fluoride toxicity that causes staining, pitting, and corrosion of the enamel. In 2006, the FDA ruled that companies cannot advertise that Fluoride reduces the risk of cavities in children. In fact, they ruled that children under a year of age should not have fluoridated products because it causes Dental Fluorosis. More research has proven that children up to the age 6 years ancient may be affected.
Fluoride Bad for Adults As Well: Children are not the only ones that are impacted by Fluoride. People with calcium and magnesium deficiencies, renal insufficiency patients, diabetics, cardiac patients, kidney patients, postmenopausal women, and elderly men all should avoid Fluoride treated water and products. Since it has been proven that it does not prevent cavities, no one needs products containing Fluoride. It is one more chemical our body does not need. We can avoid this one at least by reading labels. Our body and immune system is subjected to hundreds of chemicals in our water, food, and air we breathe every day. We need to pay attention and avoid chemicals when we can.
How to Avoid Fluoride: It is simple, read labels and install a reverse osmosis water filter on your faucet. You can also buy drinking water from the store but often drinking water is not what the label states. A Brita Water pitcher can also be faded. You can either use the pitcher that filters the water or one that fits on the faucet itself. We expend one and the water tastes great.

Everybody seems to have his or her own preferences for water. Dogs can be rather fond of drinking it out of the toilet. When I was a little kid, the best tasting water was out of the water hose in the back yard on a hot summer day. There was something about that warm liquid gushing to the back of your parched throat with just a diminutive hint of rubber. Later it was tap water poured over ice and served in aluminum tumblers that got very cold. School water was good if it came out of the new stainless steel fountains that were refrigerated. But it was lousy out of the outmoded white porcelain sinks whose pressure was so coarse you almost had to do what your mom warned against: don’t put your mouth on where the water came out. Then there were those huge bottles of office water with the pointy snow cone cups. The cups weren’t much bigger than a thimbleful, and after your one gulp, you had to crumple them up and throw them away as there was no way to stand them upright. Then, gradually, some of your relatives and neighbors, who had more disposable income than you, started getting the water filters on their kitchen sinks or the pitchers with the filters attached to them. Then there was always the decision whether to pour the tap water over ice right out of the faucet, or store it icy in the refrigerator. The two schools of though seem to be split about 50/50 on that one.
Actually, the origins of bottled water can be traced back to the earliest civilizations. Legend has it that after crossing the Pyrenees, Hannibal rested his troops in France at the Perrier spring. In the eighteenth century, spas became popular for the water’s healing effects. Cold spa waters were bottled in France for the first time in the 1850’s. In the beginning, bottled water was reserved for the wealthy. It was bottled in glass and stoneware with cork or porcelain stoppers. The first water in plastic bottles appeared in 1968. Today, there are basically two types of bottled water: that which comes from underground springs, has very dinky processing, and contains minerals and the “purified” water.
Now we have the Good Water Store and Café developed and owned by rapper Kanye West and his father. The café, which is located in a strip mall in Lexington Park, Md. has all of the trappings of a modern coffehouse: WiFi, flat-screen TV’s, and performance site. The café serves more than just water: It has a wide selection of teas, bubble tea, wraps, salad, yogurt, smoothies, and coffee, all made with premium distilled water. The owner, Ray West, hopes that the café will spur awareness of global clean water issues.
You can get three grades of water at the store: Good is 85% pure. This water is sold in bulk and is treated with a carbon filter. The Better grade is water treated with a reverse osmosis filter, which is like most bottled water. The Best grade is supposed to be 99.9% pure. It is treated with the first two methods and then hurry through a steam-distillation process.
It appears that the water store trend will continue. It is already popular in California where there are water shortages. The Beverage Marketing Corp. predicts that bottled water will be the best selling beverage by the year 2012.
